Heart Safe Event
Like a Heart Safe Community, a Heart Safe Event incorporates the major elements
that deliver an AED to a person's side in under 3 minutes. Unlike a community
that stores the AEDs in buildings, a Heart Safe Event is a dynamic affair
with AED access through staff members. A Heart Safe Event could be as simple
as one AED stored in a watertight box on a river raft, or a major event
with multiple AEDs and radio communications among mobile staff
members on golf carts.
