What Happens When the AED is Used

Some day it will happen. The call for an AED will be answered and the machine will be used.

With each use, the machine needs to be restored before it can be put back into service. The battery, both defibrillation pads, the support pack with face mask, gloves and scissors will all be replaced.

The internal memory will be downloaded so that a report of the ekg can be sent to your Medical Director.

Restoring an AED would cost you $300-500 if you owned your own machine. This service is FREE to our World Wide AED customers!
